Today they defeated the low rated Guyana by 15 runs at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. It was a high scoring contest with South Australia piling up 191 for 6 after being asked to bat first by Sarwan and Guyana in reply were restricted to 176 for 7.
The Redbacks from Australia were off to a dull start at 41 for 3 in 5.3 overs but were rescued by the fourth wicket stand of 88 between Callum Ferguson (55 from 37 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes) and Cameron Borgas (48 from 36 balls with 3 fours and a six). All rounder Daniel Christian provided them with a perfect finish with a 10-ball 23 that had three sixes.
